Many importers publish the producers they work with on their own websites. We read those pages and link each producer we recognise to the importer, with the address of the page and the date we read it. A link means “this importer’s website lists this producer”.

• Importer-asserted. It is what the importer says about itself. It is not stock, exclusivity, current availability or sales.
• Incomplete. We read only the sites we could find and parse, so this is a partial picture of the trade in Switzerland.
• Absence tells you nothing. A producer we did not find on any importer’s site in Switzerland may simply be on a page we could not read. Nothing on this site treats it as missing, open or available.
• Match quality. “Name + region/list match” means the producer’s name appeared with a region or appellation word nearby, or inside a list or heading. “Name match” means the name alone matched.
